Marketing - SEO and AdvertisingWe Know How to Sell Stuff
Advertising online is the most cost effective and measureable method of advertising. Why? Put it like this, you can place an expensive advert for a plumbing service in Chesterfield in a newspaper for 1000s of people who don't need a plumber to see. Alternatively you can target that advert online only to people who are searching for "plumbers in Chesterfield".
But it can also be an expensive learning curve, so you want your advertising to be managed by someone with experience. The two methods widely regarded as the most effective ways of advertising online are Search Engine Optimisation, and Pay-Per-Click Advertising.
Pay-Per-Click Advertising
Our experience in online advertising ensures advertising budgets are used most effectively, as we micro-manage each phase of the campaign, from the words we use, to who sees them and where the advert takes them. We take great care when a customer puts us in charge of such an important part of their business. We carefully select who sees your adverts to avoid wasting your money and test many variations of each advert to see which works best.
Our Experience comes not just from managing customers' marketing campaigns, but from our own separate business ventures and evenings studying what the world's best marketers do.
This service includes:
- Keyword research
- Keyword selection
- Bid optimisation
- Account set up
- Keyword grouping
- Copywriting
- Development of specialist landing pages
- Campaign review (at least weekly)
- Ongoing campaign adjustment
- Ongoing statistical analysis
- Comprehensive reporting
We set up the campaign, and then spend time every day of the first week testing new adverts and tweaking things to see what works best. After that we check your campaign at least once every week and continue to carry out tests and add keywords to improve results. For this we charge £60 to set up the campaign (or £20 per product if you have many items you want to promote) plus 15% of the advertising expenditure.

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
This is actually free advertising! It's basically designing web pages so that they show at the top of search results when people search for your product. High search engine rankings can have a very significant impact on your business.
Unlike Pay-Per-Click though, you won't get results over night, changes we make can take months to take effect. But don't let that put you off. With a little patience, you can get 1000s of potential customers to your website for free!
We include free basic SEO in all our websites. To really improve your position in the search engines, you need more than just basic SEO. Our advanced SEO includes:
- Keyword research
- Keyword selection
- Development of specialist landing pages
- Keyword placement
- Link building
- Link optimisation
- URL optimisation
- Campaign review (at least weekly)
- Ongoing campaign adjustment
- Ongoing statistical analysis
- Comprehensive reporting
The cost of advanced SEO varies depending on the size of the website although the price per page reduces for larger websites. To give you a rough idea, a single page website would cost around £80, while a website with 40 pages would cost closer to £30 per page. After that 7.5% of the set up fee each month is all that's required for ongoing maintenance. The benefits will last for as long as your website does and will even increase with time for a number of reasons including the fact that older websites are trusted more by search engines.
